This Asian camphor tree was transplanted to Madagascar and has since given it a specific essential oil that is major in aromatherapy. The essential oil of ravintsara Bioflore contains oxides, monoterpenes, monoterpenols, sesquiterpenes … Well tolerated and very effective, ravintsara is ultimately quite simple and owes most of its properties to an interaction between its dominant monoterpenol, the alpha-terpineol, and cineole.
